The Remodel Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Kuna, Idaho, dedicated to improving housing conditions for those who need it most. We address a critical gap in our community: thousands of Treasure Valley residents live in homes with deteriorating conditions that threaten their health, safety, and dignity.
Unlike volunteer-driven repair programs that handle basic fixes, we deliver full-scope, professional-quality remodeling — kitchens, bathrooms, tile, flooring, roofing, accessibility modifications, and more — performed by experienced tradespeople who hold themselves to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Every project we take on is driven by the same principles that define who we are as an organization.
Every homeowner deserves a living space that supports their health and self-respect. We treat every project as if it were our own home.
We deliver the same professional-quality workmanship that commands premium rates in the private market. No shortcuts, ever.
Our finances, governance, contracts, and outcomes are fully documented and available to stakeholders, funders, and the public.
We build lasting relationships with neighbors, businesses, churches, and civic organizations to create a network of mutual support.
We measure what matters, report honestly, and continuously improve our programs based on data and feedback.
Comprehensive, professional-grade home remodeling and repair services — all delivered completely free to qualified homeowners.
Complete demolition and remodel including tile, fixtures, plumbing coordination, vanities, and shower/tub systems with professional waterproofing.
Countertops, backsplash, cabinetry, flooring, and fixture upgrades to create safe and functional kitchen spaces.
Ceramic, porcelain, LVP, hardwood, and laminate installation throughout the home, replacing damaged and hazardous flooring.
Grab bars, curbless showers, wheelchair ramps, comfort-height toilets, widened doorways, and anti-slip flooring for safer living.
Interior painting, drywall repair, and texture finishing to restore walls and ceilings to like-new condition.
Roofing repairs, siding replacement, and exterior weatherproofing to protect homes from moisture intrusion and weather damage.
Coordination with licensed subcontractors for code-compliant plumbing and electrical upgrades and repairs.
Modifications that help seniors remain safely in their homes, from handrails and lighting to full bathroom accessibility retrofits.
Rapid-response assistance for urgent issues like burst pipes, roof leaks, furnace failure, water heater replacement, and storm damage.
Our transparent, step-by-step process ensures every project is handled with care, professionalism, and accountability.
Submit a simple application with income documentation, homeownership verification, and a description of the repairs you need.
Our team verifies your income, veteran status, disability documentation, or referral from a partner agency.
We visit your home to assess the scope of work, document conditions, identify needed trades, and develop a project estimate.
Our board reviews and prioritizes projects based on available funding, severity of need, and feasibility.
